The lower casing assy is designed to pack and protect an article. It has an opening, a space and a first side-surface portion that is adapted to tightly accommodate the article packed by the at least one cushioning sleeve (31, 32). A first supporting portion extends from the first side-surface portion. A second supporting portion is pre-formed, via e.g. die-cut mode, on the second side-surface portion. The second supporting portion, via a side edge away from the first supporting portion, abuts against the sleeve to reduce impact once the article is subjected to said sleeve.
